Dual Challenge: Banana crop waste mismanagement & Ineffective Biofungicide
Every harvest, banana farmers face a costly burden. The entire plant — after fruit extraction — becomes waste. Farmers pay labour to remove it. Waste is dumped or burned. Soil loses organic carbon. Farmers buy more chemicals. mostly they use chemical fungicides. The cycle deepens poverty and pollution.

The waste is the raw material
Banavrit turns banana crop biomass into high-performance biological inputs — the Trichom Patch, a liquid biofungicide, a powder and a microbial compost. The pseudostem and leaf a farmer currently pays labour to clear become the substrate that Trichoderma grows on, and the result goes back into the same soil.
That is what makes this different from either alternative on the shelf. A talc-based biofungicide carries no waste story and a colony count too low to hold the root zone; a waste-management scheme produces compost and stops there. One process here answers both ends of the problem.
Nothing leaves the farm
The banana is harvested and the pseudostem and leaf are cut. Instead of being burned, they become the substrate Trichoderma grows on — and that becomes the Trichom Patch, the liquid biofungicide, the powder and the compost. Those go back into the root zone of the next crop, on the same land.
The waste and the input are the same material at two points in one loop. That is the whole thesis, and it is why the carrier in our product is banana pseudostem rather than talc.
